RMNA Housing FAQs

1) Will we have mini fridges in the dorms ?

• Resident halls do not have kitchens within the units, however there is a shared kitchen and lounge space on these floors that are available for communal use.

• Shared kitchens are equipped with a full-size refrigerator, oven, electric stovetop, microwave, a sink, and a shared pantry.

So no, there is only a communal fridge at the floor-wide kitchen 🫤

2) What facilities are available?

3) How does the meal package work? 

There will be meal cards, it is “ All you care to eat” buffet stations.

4) Can you show us pictures of the dorm rooms?

5) Will the campus housing have (free) laundry machines?

Laundry cards are available by individual via credit card ONLY at the Hospitality Information Desk at TDLLN

Wash cycle is $1.50

Dry cycle is $1.25

Additional funds can be added via hdhtcas.ucsd.edu

Balances are non-refundable

6) Can we get a parking permit during the time of RMNA?

Check In/Out

The RMNA housing package covers housing from the night of the 22nd through the night of the 28th. You should arrive midday on the 22nd and leave in the morning of the 29th. I will be waiting at the Hospitality Information desk (check provided map) from 8AM-4PM on Sunday for key pickup. If you won't arrive in this timeframe, let me know and we can work something out.

The housing package includes three meals a day from the 21st to the 28th. Additionally it offers two meals on the 22nd (lunch and dinner) as well as breakfast on the 29th.

Attendees will be housed in double dorms.

Check in will be 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM June 22nd (I will be physically present)

Check out will be before 11:00 AM June 29th
